BENNY BOOM speaks on hiphop

Benny Boom (born on July 22, 1971) is a music video director and current director of Gorilla Flix, Inc. He trained at Temple University's School of Radio, Television, & Film, and also served as a protégé of veteran director Little X and Hype Williams. He has also directed music videos for Nas, Amerie, Kelly Rowland, Monica, Keyshia Cole, Mario Ciara, Cassidy, Lil' Kim, LL Cool J, Nelly, P. Diddy, 50 Cent and many others.

Boom is a member of Alpha Phi Alpha, the first intercollegiate Greek-letter fraternity established for African Americans.

This film, released today, is influenced by The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift. It tells the story of Zack (Syamsul Yusof) and Sham (Farid Kamil) who are close friends who share a passion for drift racing.

The movie is not at all that bad. It's much better than Impak Maksima, or so I've heard. Sound effects' a bit off-sync but the action's pretty sleek for a Malaysian film. The verdict; Fasha Sanda's hot. :P
